I don't know about the new bar.
Steaks are aged and hand cut. Best steak you will ever find.
I liked the people there, I liked the staff, and I liked the the food even without their regular chef. I am going to try to get put there more often.
I personally love this restaurant and appreciate the great atmosphere in a small southern town. Growing up in the area, my mother and grandmother and further back didn't always have a modern place with good food to take out of town friends. Thank you for all your hard work. I highly recommend this restaurant.
A little pricey but the food was really good
My husband and I went here for the first time on our 40th Anniversary. The food was exceptional!!! The staff and the chef were extremely friendly and attentive! We will definitely be back and highly recommend it!!!!
No photo to be had because we were so hungry that we wolfed it down. Much appreciate any business that takes the time to make their own condiments. The honey mustard, tartar sauce, ketchup and cocktail sauce, are outstanding. The GM, herself, is friendly, and welcoming. The food was excellent, as well as the service.Thank you for being open!Wholeheartedly, recommend.
Always excellent food and service
Great place, great food and great staff
I had the special (a Cuban). It was great!
The food is good, the service was excellent, and overall I had a great meal. The decor and ambiance are all over the place, I couldn't tell if they were going for a low key holster casual experience, or a rural fine dining experience, either way it could use a little direction. Once again, the food and service were great, the chef is talented and creative, they have solid beer and wine selections, and the portions and presentation are top notch. My only other complaint is the price, it isn't outrageous, just a bit high for a small town restaurant that has more of a beach shack vibe than a haute cuisine feel.If you want a great meal and great service, and don't mind paying a little more than a chain place, go, you wont be disappointed.
A gem in a small town. We were looking for a nice meal before the football game. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the prices were fair! Great atmosphere as well. We will definitely be back the next time we pass through Waynesboro.
Came in for lunch yesterday and, seriously, had the best burger I've EVER had. Meat was incredible! They had run out of their soup of the day so I asked for a vegetable. The chef made fresh green beans that were out of this world! He told me the secret but I won't tell!! Yum! I came back today. The philly steak and coleslaw. . oh, yeah!!
The food was awesome and the host and waiter was very nice.
Hidden gem tucked away in historic Waynesboro GA. You will be pleasantly surprised! Charming atmosphere and decor. Food is good. Drinks are good. People are good. Staff will make you feel like family while filling your tummy. It was very refreshing not to be served something other than your typical southern food. Will not disappoint.
Blueberry salad was awesome!
Excellent. Food, service, drinks were well prepared and served. While we have eaten lunch here many times, tonight was our first time to enjoy dinner. We will be back.
Best darn food in Waynesboro by far !!
great food and service. Po'Boy is great. Burgers on a Kaiser roll is even better
Awesome as always. Very nice place to meet and eat!!!
Good food, excellent cocktails Very good service
Small place but great food. Good prices and we had great service from our waitress. One in our party ordered a burger and they cooked it like he ordered it. Food very fresh. The butterbean/ham soup was great. Will definitely be going back.
The food and service here is always wonderful. We're talking steak, seafood, pork, or chicken dishes prepared to perfection. With exceptional salads and bread. Limited hours, so check before you come, dinner reservations recommended !!!
This little restaurant is amazing
Great food and staff!!
Kevin is a great Chef and now a Bartender. Good Luck and hope for the best
A cut above the usual for Burke County. The quiet and clean surroundings make for a peaceful and tasty lunch. The food is top of the line with plates and sandwiches prepared by a talented and educated chef who knows how to put together a menu.
I am so disappointed! After traveling all day we were looking forward to sitting down at a local place for a bite to eat. I looked at the online menu and couldn't wait to order the Ruben Well, after being seated and given our menus, we were told to move as the table we were sitting at was reserved. We wound up sitting in a corner near a door that was constantly getting opened and needed to be slammed to close, apparently. The menu we viewed was completely different than the one we were given. We wound up ordering 3 salads and one meal. Would you believe that was a $70.00 dinner?? We had to ask for things multiple times, like bread and dressing. Also, after ordering a $70.00 meal, they had the audacity to charge us extra for a tiny cup of blue cheese dressing! The one good thing was that my daughter enjoyed her meal, but I'm not sure it was worth $18.00.
Great food and wonderful staff!!
Best food and atmosphere in town.
Great food! Hidden gem! Service is great you can sit outside in a screen in porch or inside . Lovely
Please stop in and say hello to Kevin and the friendly folks at Good Day Cafe. The food is dangerously delicious and frankly it's really hard to leave. The loft style feel of the dining room and bar area are only a few of the perks in an overall 5 Star rating for Good Day Cafe.
Good local restaurant for an upscale meal. Food and service always above par. Highly recommend.
Friendly staff, cool atmosphere. Very nice menu. But steaks are a little over seasoned so ask them to go easy or bare on that. Otherwise, Enjoy!
Great food. Clean and friendly
Food is great, and the best old fashion.
The food tasted amazing, but make sure you make a reservation otherwise you make It hard on the small cafe and other cafes like it.
A little pricey but worth it! Food was delicious and the server Ms. Heather was very friendly.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere!
Good atmosphere, good food.
Had lunch there today and food as well as service was excellent. It was well worth the drive from Augusta and we will definitely go again. Love the decor.
Great place to eat!!!.Absolutely delicious...We had Dinner here tonight and would highly recommend this Restaurant. Everyone was so friendly ❤
Seared shrim and scallop meal was fan tas tic.
Best place in town to eat.
Delicious food that was all prepared fresh. We enjoyed the chicken salad, grouper, homemade fries, and creme brulee. All diners reported robust fresh flavors.
I worked here from December 2018 until May 2019 and I loved it. Shelli is a great manager and she’s very easy to get along with. The food there was and is always phenomenal. The majority of the staff members there are good people that I thoroughly enjoyed working with and getting to know. The owner, Kevin, was a great boss overall and I enjoyed working with him and I am forever grateful I got the opportunity to. The food is always fresh and prepared when ordered, they only use the best quality ingredients for everything and many things are grown locally. They have a wide selection of items on both of their menus, they serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and have something that everyone will enjoy. I highly recommend dining here for lunch any weekday or dinner every Thursday-Saturday. I personally recommend the blueberry salad, spicy chicken wrap, key lime pie and the pork chop.
Great food , excellent service . nice atmosphere .. Outside dining when weather is nice
We ate there for lunch today and left excited to have found a hidden gem only 30 miles from our home in Louisville. My husband ordered the Mahi sandwich while I ordered the spicy shrimp wrap. We also started the meal with their Lima bean and ham soup (best soup I've ever tasted in a long time!) We really enjoyed the food and the prices were good ($10 or so for each sandwich.) Wish I had asked for our waitresses name but she was attentive and made sure all the food came out at the same time. She had a charming personality and she showed us the dinner menu hoping we would return. Overall, a great experience!
Yummy French onion soup. Great spot for lunch.
Everything was excellent. Truly enjoyed our meal. Staff is friendly, portions are good, prices reasonable. Delicious.
Great food. Good service. A must try in this tiny town.
